Introduction
By the grace of Allah, Al Deeniya Arabic College, which has been operating for the past 60 years, has produced more than a hundred ulama, thinkers and scholars, and has contributed greatly to the development of religious art and society. The history of Deeniya Arabic College, which has turned the obstacles marked in its development path into stepping stones, is something that can be written in golden letters.
Origin and History of the College
1383 Hijri Jamatul Ahir Parai 2 km in Rauzhadul Asbia Juma School located in village called Mullai in Kalutara district where foreigners live. B. It was started on Sunday 20th October 1963.
Angurar money event was presided over by Marhum Al Aleem Al Basil Abdul Samad Hazrat, Al Aleem Zabir followed by Istikhara prayer and Dua, some other Ulama’s advice and finally the event concluded with Marhum Masood Aleem’s Dua.
1386 A.H. three years after the commencement of Jamia Deeniya. In 1967, a small plot of land adjacent to the mosque was purchased by Alhaj Najibuddin and the foundation stone was laid by Maulana Rahmatullah Dihlavi and Maulana Imran Nadvi Bhopali and the building was completed in the same year.
